MIST Academy is planning Speech, Debate, and Robotics programs to begin in Summer, 2009.
MIST Academy is an innovative new school and college preparatory program for motivated young problem solvers. MIST stands for Mathematics, Informatics, Science, and Technology, and MIST Academy programs are dedicated to providing the best educational experience for students with those areas of interest.
Initially, the primary focus of MIST Academy is mathematical problem solving. As a subject, math is easier than most subjects to play around with. It requires little if any knowledge of other subjects, and few physical tools. Math also serves as a foundational prerequisite for many problem solving fields. MIST classes are aimed at bright math students in or entering grades 4 through 12.
