MIST Academy's Olympiad Problem Solving course is aimed at exceptional math students with proven mastery of the Advanced Problem Solving curriculum.  The Olympiad curriculum includes a greatly expanded array of problem solving tools and focuses equally on problem solving and proof writing.  Students who take this course will often find themselves working on harder material than in undergraduate courses at all but the world's elite universities.

Problems and lessons for this course are taken from undergraduate texts as well as competitions such as the Mandelbrot Competition, the USA Mathematical Talent Search (USAMTS), the AIME, the USA Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO), the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), and the Putnam Examination.  The Olympiad Problem Solving course is also open to teachers as well as undergraduates preparing for the Putnam Exam.

Check out the Gliya Olympiad forum for examples of Olympiad problems.  We plan to begin hosting an Olympiad course when there is a core of dedicated and interested students capable and interested in working at this high level.
